Mica & Me

Mica, my niece, spent the weekend with us. We had a great time! Emerson absolutely LOVES her some Mica!! Here are a few pics I took today...

Say it ain't so!!!

Well, our precious Emerson turned 10 months on Friday! I can't believe it! I caught myself looking at her a lot this this weekend thinking how amazing it is to be her mommy! It amazes me all the things she is doing. Like tonight, we thought we would give her a steamed carrot. Girl ended up eating 4 of them! She is still just cruising but she did take to 2 steps by herself the other day. She just has to gain her confidence then she will be off! She does what we call her "squats." It is so cute, here are some pics...She is still the happiest baby!! Words/sounds she makes...mama, dada, baba, nana, tickle tickle...she will clap and make a noise when we say "yeeeaaahhh" it is like she is trying to say it also....she will growl when we make the roar/growl sound...she likes to be scared, she will laugh and laugh...she will play peek-a-boo, initiating it herself...wow a proud mom can go on and on!!! We got in a little late on Friday so I don't have a lot of pics to share but here is what I got...

What a Q-T!!!

I know this is kinda gross but we are showing off her 3 top teeth!!! But what is crazy is that this pic was taken 2 days ago. Now she has another tooth coming in on the other side. So, she will have four teeth on top very soon!!!! She has 2 on the bottom and it looks like another one is about to pop up. So to sum it up she will have 7 teeth very soon!!! Oh how my baby is growing!!

So another little update...Miss Emerson has/had strep throat. We knew there was something wrong Monday night when she wouldn't take her last bottle. She is A LOT better today. It was hard to see her hurting. She was so whinny. We have such a happy baby that it was hard for us to see her that way BUT we have our happy girl back!! It is AMAZING how fast they bounce back!!

Tessa Blayne Hendon

Well, Miss Tessa is finally here!!! What a cutie!!! She is so alert and look at all that hair!!! Too precious!! She was born at 4:03 pm, weighing 7lbs 12 oz and 20 inches long!! Everyone is doing great!! CONGRATS guys!!! We love y'all!!! What a Thanksgiving to remember!!!

Mommy Has Red Eyes

My mommy has been saying she has pink eye. I don't know why they call it pink eye because my mommy's eyes look red. It isn't any fun because she hasn't been able to play with me much the last few days. They say it is very contagious, whatever that means! But thank you daddy for taking good care of me and doing all the jobs mommy usually does!! Get your white eyes back mommy, so we can play!!!

10 Year Reunion

Ok, so I am posting this a little late! My reunion was the weekend of Oct 12. I didn't take my camera. I know, who doesn't take a camera to their reunion?? So these are pics taken by other classmates. We had a great time but the drama never ends!! We graduated with 13o?? people and this is all that came to this reunion. Yes, this reunion. Our class ended up have two different reunions the same weekend. Hopefully at our 20 or even 30 year reunion everyone can grow up and we can all socialize together!!! But we did have a BLAST!!! It was good to see all the people that made it to the football game and this reunion!!
