Week 17

Another weekly pic! She looks big here!! I think it depends on what I have on. On Sunday, I didn't even look like I had a belly. Maybe this is her way of smiling!!! She makes my belly look big for the pictures!! Ha! Ha!

So, Gregg and I are about to leave for the Bryant vs. Benton game. They are playing at War Memorial. They are expecting 15,000-20,000 people!! Kinda crazy!! So, I guess we are Hornet fans now!!! Go Hornets Go!!!

Gifts for Emerson

This weekend Ashley and I went looking and shopping for us and the babies. She found some really cute onesies like "My Daddy's a Geek" "Word to Big Bird". I may have to go back and get the one that says "Elmo is my Homeboy" and "Does this diaper make me look fat?". We looked at baby bedding and we have decided that there is not a lot of clothing choices for us. We found REALLY cute baby clothes though. I couldn't resist buying some clothes for Miss Emerson. They are so cute and were so cheap!! Big sale at Old Navy guys!!!

We went to Stuttgart on Sunday. We celebrated Gregg's mom, Toni and our niece, Audrey's b-day. And then Austin and Mica had a play so we went to that also. Well, Emerson received some gifts also. Her Aunt Shelia gave her a very cute onesies which is called a sleeping bag. It is VERY sweet!! She also got a cute little elephant and bear! Then my mom made Miss Emmie the softest blanket! She is going to love all of this stuff!! Is she going to be spoiled??? We will just call it...Well Loved!!!

16 Weeks

The belly is getting bigger!! I should start feeling Emerson move around soon!! How exciting!! We have this months dr.'s apt tomorrow. We should get to hear the heart beat!! Gregg missed it last visit. It was so amazing to hear her little heart beat!! I just love being about to call the baby Emerson or her!!! It makes it even more real!! Well, the morning sickness, which really wasn't that bad, is decreasing. I still get real tired at times but it is getting better also. Well, I guess that is about it. I hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend!

Boy or Girl???

That is right it is a girl!! We sooo are excited!! We will have to start saving now!! We weren't sure if she was going to cooperate at first but she finally did!! We will have another ultrasound at around 20 weeks but our friend was certain it was a girl!! Thank you Lynne again for doing this! It was so amazing to see her!! Your ultrasound is tons better than the one Gregg has been using. We are pretty sure her name will be Emerson Kathleen and maybe call her Emmie!! I don't think it has sunk in yet. WE ARE HAVING A LITTLE GIRL!!! Oh, the shopping we will do!! Any way, here are some pictures from today!

Week 15

Alright, I am going to try this again. I finished the blog last night and it messed up. I was a little upset but oh, well!! So, wow I am already 15 weeks! It is going by so quickly!! If the baby cooperates, we get to find out the sex on Tuesday, the 22nd!! I just found out our friend will do a 3D ultrasound also! We are so excited!!


This past Sunday, Gregg did an ultrasound on me. Here are a few pictures!! The baby was standing on its head the majority of the time. Enjoy the pics!

Week 14

Week 13

So, here is the belly. I think it looks even smaller this week! I do have to confess that thank goodness these were drawstring pants because that was the only thing keeping them up!! I could hook the clasp but it was way to tight. So, you are wondering why I wore the pants. Because the day before I had ironed A LOT of clothes including this outfit. I don't really care to iron so I was determined to wear the outfit one last time. Since it was ironed and all!! Well, I hope everyone has a safe and fun weekend!

You Might Be A Redneck If...

You make your own sprinkler using a hose and paint can!! So, I go outside the other day and see this! I was cracking up!!! I had to take a picture!! Gregg had just got back from Wal-Mart and didn't want to go back. So, this is what he made! Pretty creative but I am sure our neighbors were like, what the??? I will let you know we have a real sprinkler now!!!
