On the Road Again...

Well guys, it is that time again. Gregg's contract will be ending here in Boston on the 27th. We will be going to Atlanta next!!! Yeah, the SOUTH!!!! And only about 8 hours away from home!!! We are excited! We just found an apartment. It will be perfect! It has a swimming pool, so you know where I will be!! The property has 8 acres of open land. This will be perfect for Rosco! Well, I better get back to packing. We only have a week left and we haven't done much!! You know us procrastinators!!!

Star Struck!!!

This past weekend Tab and Brandon came to Boston to visit Gregg and I. While they were here we went New York City. We had a blast!!! The guys went to a Mets vs. Cardinals game while Tab and I walked Manhattan. I am not kidding, we walked from Soho to Central Park!!! While we were in Time Square Gregg and I saw Julie off of last seasons Survivor!!! Then as we are walking in Central Park we saw Evangeline Lilly (Kate) and Dominic Monaghan (Charlie) from Lost!!! I was star struck!! You talk about country comes to town!!! Tab didn't know who they were and leave it to me...I point at them and say "Them, they are on Lost." The entire time Dominic is looking right at me. I want to ask them for a picture but I decided not to. I know they probably get enough of that. Well, we were hoping to see some stars and we did!!!

This is called the horeshoe and it is considered to be on the Canadian side.

One Year Later...

Well guys, Gregg and I have just celebrated our 1st year anniversary!!!! What a year!!! Since we got married we have lived in Seattle, WA and Boston, MA!!! We have our first "kid" Rosco!!! We have seen and done things that I would have never imagined!! For our anniversary we went to Niagara Falls!! We had a blast!! Enjoy the pictures!!

About Me...

I just noticed that my "About Me" wasn't showing. So for those of you that don't know everything about me, here you go...
I was born in Brownsville, TX and moved to Stuttgart, AR when I was 3 years old. So, I consider myself an Arkansas County girl!!! I attended the U of A and got a BS in Child Development. I love kids!!! I worked at Arkansas Children's Hospital as a Child Life Specialist in the ER for 3 years before I started traveling with my husband. Gregg, my husband (who is an Arkansas County boy!!!) and I will be married a year on May 1, 2005. My husband is a radiology tech and he is contracted with hospitals around the US. We were in Seattle, WA for 6 months and we are currently in Quincy, MA (right outside of Boston.) We will live here until May 27 and then who knows where we will go next!!! We have a dog, Rosco. He is so cute and sweet!!! He is part lab, part golden retriever. He looks like a black, golden retriever. He is our "kid" for now!!! We will eventually move back to the Little Rock area. You can move the girl out of the south but you can't take the south out of the girl!!!

This past weekend...

Gregg and I went to West Hazelton, Pennsylvania to visit some of my relatives. It was fun!!! They all came over to my Aunt Agnes and we hung out all afternoon. There were like 15 adults, 11 kids and 2 dogs. Kinda crazy but fun!!! Needless to say, we were exhausted when everyone left. I feel asleep on the couch around 7:00. I was excited to have Gregg meet my mom's side of the family!!

Changing the subject a little...If anyone has ever visited or lived in this area you would know the driving is crazy!!! People make their own lanes, so the street may be one lane or two. You never know. People just pull out in front of you, like it is nobody's business. We got flipped off by a truck driver because Gregg didn't slam on his brakes, going 80, to let a big truck in the other lane. As we enter Quincy, 2 cars pull out in front of Gregg almost causing us to hit them. Thank goodness my mom always prays over our car!!! So, needless to say PEOPLE CAN'T DRIVE up here!! They have their own rules!!!
