34 Weeks

I hope everyone had a great Christmas!! We did, especially Emmie!! I decided to take a pic of all of Emerson's gifts and I can't believe how much she got!! Check it out...

She got way more gifts than Gregg and I!! She is one loved girl!! Thank you again for all the gifts!!

So, only 6 more weeks!! I am getting ready. I think I had some braxton hicks contractions today. I don't have much more to report on the pregnancy thing. I am still pretty tired, have leg/hip cramps and a little swelling. I still feel her move which of course I LOVE!! Gregg and I just watch my belly at night. It is the greatest thing!! We painted the baseboards and bookshelf in her room. We plan on putting one more coat of the pink paint on the walls. Then we will be able to move everything in!!! I am ready to get her room done!! It will be so cute!! I will post pics once we get it finished!!

Oh, I forgot one more picture. I had to work at the hospital on Christmas. Luckily they allowed Gregg to help out also. We walked Santa and Mrs. Clause around to hand out stocking and take pictures with the kiddos. Well, here is a picture of Santa and Emmie. Santa said she was telling him what she wanted for Christmas!!!

Week 33

Alrighty, so I am 33 weeks now! And boy is she growing!! I had a dr's appointment yesterday. I measured right at 33 weeks which is great! He said usually you start measuring bigger but she is right on track! I quit added up the pounds I have gained. It was a little depressing. I have been having indigestion and still feeling tight. But...she is moving like crazy!! I love it!! You can see when she pushes against my belly!! It is pretty cool!!

I have a funny story for you guys. I got up about 5am to use the bathroom. Well, when I stood up I didn't realize my left leg was asleep. So, I wasn't standing for long...needless to say I fell. I said a few choice words which woke Gregg up. His response was, "Where are you?" Which I responded, "I fell." He had to get up and help me up. Well, the good thing is that I didn't pee on myself!! But, I just took off my socks and shoes and my baby toe is way swollen, bruised and has some busted blood vessels. Just call me "grace."

Well, Gregg finished painting the baby furniture and touched up on the pink paint in her bedroom. We still have to paint the baseboards and bookcase and then we can start moving everything in!!! Oh, and Nana finished the bedding. It is SOOOOOO adorable!! I just love it!! I can't wait to get everything in her room!! Hopefully soon!!

Another cute gift for Emerson...

Isn't this the cutest thing!! One of co-workers, Roberta, gave this to us!! If you haven't figured it out, it is a Razorback mobile and it plays the fight song!! We wanted Emerson to be a Razorback fan and now I don't think she will have much of a choice!! This child already has 3 different Razorback cheerleading outfits. One for 3 mo, 9 mo and 18 mo. I think she is set!! Go Hogs Go!!!

So, I am 32 weeks now! Only 8 more to go!! Kinda crazy!! We had our childbirth class and breastfeeding class. They both went well! We learned a lot at the breastfeeding class. Hopefully we will remember all the info!! It made us think about if we want visitors or not at the hospital after she is born. We are thinking we will only have family for the first day and then maybe friends the second. Or, just have people come visit us once we get home. They talked a lot about bonding and the importance of letting the baby get comfortable. You can't really do that with lots of visitors. So, we aren't sure yet what we are going to do. They gave us a tour of the labor and delivery unit in our childbirth class. The birthing room is like a hotel room!! It is nice!! Oh, and did I tell ya that the class kinda scared me. I just want my epidural to work!!!

How I am feeling these days...I get really tired at work and try to do things that allow me to sit. My feet are really sore at the end of the day and they are starting to swell a litttle. I still feel her move around and I can tell she is getting bigger in there!! I have been letting her listen to classical music. I will post some pics sometime with the headphones on the belly. On some of the songs she really moves around!! I think it is so neat! Well, that is about it for now!

Update on Emerson's Room

Here is what I did Saturday night...FINALLY painted her room!! I am very pleased with it. I still have to paint the baseboards and bookshelf. Gregg's Nana has finished her bedding!! And we should get it this weekend. Gregg still has to paint the crib and stuff but he got it together. I really like it also, he was putting all of it together for me while I painted.

Oh, and we had our childbirth class on Saturday. It kinda scared me but it was helpful also! Gregg entertained me though. At one point I told him he was to immature for the class!! I love you honey!! It got me excited also! It is getting closer and as we get the room finished I am getting more and more ready for her to be here!

Week 31

Ok, so I had my first 2 week visit. I ended up going on Monday instead of Friday because I was having some pains and they thought I might have a bladder infection. But I am all good!! No infection. So, my next appointment will be Dec 19th. We have a childbirth class this Saturday and I know you want to know this...breastfeeding class this Wednesday. We got Emerson's crib,changing table and dresser tonight!!! Now Gregg just has to paint them black. We plan on painting her room this weekend!!! I know, I know I have said that before but I hope to get it done. We talked to Gregg's Nanna and she said that she has the bedding done!! I am SOOOOOO excited!! I can't wait to see it! So, I am really motivated to get the room done now!!

Week 30

Well, 10 more weeks to go!! The time is flying by! She is still moving a lot and you can see her moving around! She just bounces around in there!! It is cool but crazy at the same time! I still love it though!! Oh and she is squishing everything...my bladder, stomach, hitting my ribs and pelvic bone!!! I feel like I am having to pee ALL of the time! And my stomach, I am can't seem to eat as much which I guess is a good thing! But you can hear my stomach growl but I know I can't eat any more. I get so tight! But it is all good!!:)

We finally started on Emmie's room last week! But we have only primed it. We still need to paint it. Here are a few before pics! Oh, I plan on painting it light pink!!

Week 29

We had a dr's appointment on Wednesday. Everything is good! We will start seeing the dr every 2 weeks now! So, our next appointment will be Dec 8th.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! We did! It was busy but it was great being able to see all of our family. I will post some pictures later.

We were able to get some more pics of Emerson today!! So, last time we had the 3D ultrasound done she had her feet up by her head. This time she had her hands crossed right in front of her face but we got a few good pics!! Oh, I almost forgot to tell you...she weighs 2lbs 12oz!!!

Week 28

Well, Emerson has really been moving this week! I just love it!! We have a doctors appointment on the 22nd. I don't think anything special takes place. Probably weigh me, take me blood pressure, do the doppler and answer our questions. We may get to have another 3D ultrasound this week. I will keep you posted and you better believe I will show you guys some pics of our beautiful princess!! What is exciting is that these images will show us what she will look like!! It is sooo exciting!!

We went to Fayetteville this weekend and luckily Gregg found us some tickets to the game Saturday morning!! And what a game it was!!! We stayed with some friends of ours, Lindsay and Garrett. Here are some pics of the game and us tailgating!
